The Eliminators Hot Rod & American Car Club enjoyed a bumper event in 2015 with hundreds of hot rods and muscle cars flooding the Beenleigh Showgrounds for the annual swap meet and show and shine. The Brisbane-based club has seen the event grow into one of the largest single day events on the Queensland calender and it’s well supported by local sponsors and the community. The club has always responded with donations to local charities, at a recent meeting they handed over $2,000 to long term beneficiary Family & Kids Care, $2,000 to In- SYNC Youth Service and $1,500 to the SES. President Wayne McGregor confirmed that the club has given out over $100,000 in donations over the last 22 years.
